For the first time, PPKK held the 2019 Bowling Tenpin and the Appreciation Ceremony on April 30, 2019 at the Coral Crown Bowl at Paya Bunga Sentral, Kuala Terengganu.
The championship was held to address the recommendations of the UMT Occupational Safety and Health Committee which emphasized security and occupational health through various activities including sports activities. In addition, the tournament aims to encourage the participation of PPKK members in sports as a healthy lifestyle in daily life. Furthermore, this activity is expected to strengthen the friendship among PPKK staffs.
Upon completion of the tenpin bowling tournament, the 2019 Appreciation Ceremony is held to honor the services and contributions of PPKK members throughout 2019. The council is also dedicated to appreciate a retired staff in 2019, namely Mr. Fadzil Mat Noh. PPKK sees this event as a medium that can inject positive spirit and can serve as a driving force for staff to strive to provide the best service and commitment in contributing to the excellence of PPKK. Besides that, the programs can strengthen the participation of PPKK staff and create a positive spirit of work.
“PPKK expects all staff to improve the momentum in services, especially to PPKK academicians, to continue to be active in producing quality and active graduates in research activities without marginalizing community relationships” said YBhg.
