Bach of Applied Sciences (Electronics & Intrumentation) student won first place at the IEEE Malaysia FYP Competition

Bach of Applied Sciences (Electronics and instrumentation) student, Muhammad Safiy Sabril won first place in the IEEE Malaysia Final Year Project (FYP) Competition under the Underwater Robotics, Sensors & Instrumentation System Section. His project entitled ‘Performance study of light wave propagation in underwater optical wireless communication’ was co-chaired by Dr Wan Hafiza Wan Hassan (lead supervisor), Dr Dilla Latiff (joint supervisor) and Dr Faezah Jasman (external supervisor of INOR, USM).

The competition featured 19 technical tracks, each sponsored by the technical section of IEEE Malaysia. The competition is sponsored by the Department of Higher Education Malaysia (JPT). Congratulations.
