March 8, 2018 – Fortran Basic Workshop for Data Manipulation was conducted at the CAD Lab, PPIMG Building. This workshop was delivered by Dr Sunny Goh Eng Giap, Lecturer at the School of Ocean Engineering. Students were exposed with the concept, syntax and the use of Modern Fortran software in Environmental-based research. In addition, students have also been given the opportunity to practice programming using the Fortran Modern software. Organizing such workshops is expected to increase the digital literacy of graduates in the face of the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
