Voyage Program with KLD Tunas Samudera

The Voyage Program 375/18 (Voy 375/18) was held on 2nd September 2018 involving trainees who are students of the Bachelor of Science (Nautical Science & Maritime Transportation) and Bachelor of Applied Science (Maritime Technology) from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. A total of 25 trainees have participated in the Youth Scheme Training Voyage with KLD Tunas Samudera (KLD TSA) and voyage destination are from Lumut TLDM, Perak to Langkawi Island, Kedah. The main objective of the program is to provide basic exposure to maritime science and navigation , foster awareness of maritime culture as well as the importance of forming a more proactive youth.

Congratulations to all trainees who have successfully completed the voyage (Lumut – Langkawi – Lumut) for 8 days with Royal Tunas Samudera Voyage 375/18 crew. Throughout the cruise, red watch has managed to find the best watch title. In addition, congratulations to trainee Lin Shen Yoong and Jayasri A/P Jeevaji Ganaesan from the Bachelor of Science (Nautical Science & Maritime Transportation) program for receiving the best male and female trainees certificate throughout this cruise.

This program has succeeded in further enhancing marine science and navigation, as well as fostering awareness of maritime culture to PPKK students especially from related programs. Hopefully, the crew experience can serve as a useful platform for weathering and exploration of marine life.
