The ‘Home Modern Bioenergy: From Waste to Wealth’ research project won at IBCEX ’19

A total of 6 students of Bachelor of Technology (Environment), School of Ocean Engineering participated in ‘5th International Biotechnology Competition & Exhibition 2019’ held at UTM Skudai, Johor. The two-day tournament and exhibition on 5 to 6 April 2019 is open to students of higher educational institutions. UMT is one of the 41 teams from within and outside the country participating in the competition. The program aims to provide students with pre-university graduates both internationally and internationally to compete with research findings, as well as mediums to showcase their research invocations. In this competition, the group from UMT comprises Environmental students through a project named ‘Home Modern Bioenergy: From Waste to Wealth’ won the 2nd place awards and took home a medal and a cash prize of RM1,000. Congratulations!!
