The Eco Larvae project of PPKK won at i2Create 2019

CONGRATULATIONS to the Bioprocess and Energy Group of PPKK! A research group comprising Bachelor of Technology (Environment) students, School of Ocean Engineering has participated in the International Innovation Creativity & Technology Exhibition 2019 (i2Create) held at Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

A total of 212 participants comprising primary, secondary and higher education institute students participated in the 3-day i2Create from 12 to 14 April 2019.

i2Create was also attended by 55 foreign entries comprising 14 countries, among which Australia, Indonesia and Hong Kong. Eco Larvae’s research from PPKK has received gold medals and Special Awards for the Environment and Renewable Energy category as well as Fishgrow Biofriendly Fertilizer project receiving 1 gold medal while Modern Home Bioenergy project received 1 silver medal.

Student participation from the Environmental Technology Programme in i2Create is expected to highlight the talent and skills of students from the beginning in producing future researchers. i2Create also opens more opportunities for young people to highlight their potential in the field of innovation and knowledge sharing, particularly for future generations of new opportunities.
