The two-day International Higher Education Institution (PECIPTA) Conference and Expo held on 22 September 2019 at the Sultan Ibrahim Hall, Tun Hussein Onn University awarded 2 gold and 1 silver medals to 3 projects contested by lecturers, Talented lecturer from FTKKI.<\/p>\n

The 2 gold medals won are:<\/p>\n

1) Prof. Madya Ts. Dr. Lam Su Shiung<\/p>\n

Project title: MVS: An integrated vacuum system for use in drying, desalination and waste-to-wealth applications<\/p>\n

2) Ts. Dr. Rosmayati Mohemad<\/p>\n

Project title: Ontology-based supporting tool for screening students with specific learning disabilities.<\/p>\n

While 1 silver medal was won by:<\/p>\n

1) Dr. Wan Rafizah Wan Abdullah |<\/p>\n

Project title: IC-SODIS: Intensified catalytic solar disinfection process for water purification in recirculating aquaculture system.<\/p>\n

In total, 12 projects have been contested by UMT researchers at this time and 5 gold and 7 silver have been taken home.<\/p>\n
